Grateful for silver linings, one of which is how family and friends are gathering around us in prayer and with offers of support. Cancer is a lot of hard things. It is already proving to be a lot of connecting with loved ones and strengthening of relationships and that is so, so good.

PRAYER REQUESTS
- Peace for Shawn and I, for Kyle and Miranda and Braden and Connor, for our parents and siblings and nieces and nephews and inner circle friends watching and hurting as we go through this
- that God would keep soft our children's hearts toward Him through all the emotions of this hard journey
- strength and stamina; physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually
- that the cancer shrinks to gone, gone, gone!
- gentle side effects to this second round of chemo
- family unity, harmony, love, strength, joy, happiness
- anything else you feel God puts on your heart

Blessed to be a mother
Look at these four kids! God has blessed me as mommy to these four humans. I am daily amazed, stunned even, to be entrusted with these children. To get to love and cry and hug and laugh and pray and praise and yell and scold and train and trust and hope and dream over Kyle, Miranda, Braden and Connor is my greatest heart-filling joy. Thank you, Lord, for giving me the opportunity to be mother over these children. Lord, please bless and keep them, let them always know and feel that they are loved, guard their hearts, open their minds to what you want them to learn and protect them from the things they need not know. Thank you for loving them even more than I do. Amen.
