PRAYER REQUESTS

- Peace for Shawn and I, for Kyle and Miranda and Braden and Connor, for our parents and siblings and nieces and nephews and inner circle friends watching and hurting as we go through this
- that God would keep soft our children's hearts toward Him through all the emotions of this hard journey
- strength and stamina; physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually
- that the cancer shrinks to gone, gone, gone!
- gentle side effects to this second round of chemo
- family unity, harmony, love, strength, joy, happiness
- anything else you feel God puts on your heart

Surgery Update

Our Family thanks each and every one of you for standing with us in prayer today for Kristin. Surgery is over, she is in recovery, she did well!

Please leave your 'get well messages' in the comments of this post so that the next time Kristin signs in she will see all the angels who have been thinking and praying for her today.

    I've been waiting for this update! Glad to hear everything went well. I've been praying hourly that they would. Best to rest and recover. Looking forward to more updates.

    I've checked back here a few times today already. So glad to hear that it's over. Praying for peace tonight in a noisy hospital and uncomfortable bed with uncomfortable wounds. Also praying for a pain free shoulder.

    I'm so proud of you Kristin! This was a big day! Praying God will send you extra caring and compassionate nursing staff tonight and a peaceful rest. May the prayers that have blanketed you over the last 22 days, blanket you even more tonight. May Shawn and kids and our families also feel this wonderful blanket of your peace tonight.     My devotional today, Nov 21st... and I am reading this a message to you...

    "Wonderful Savior, You tell Kristin that there is surely a future hope for her, and her hope will not be cut off (Prov 23:18). When she hopes in You, Lord, she will renew her strength. She will soar on wings like eagles; She will run and not grow weary, She will walk and not be faint (Isa. 40:31) Lord, Help Kristin hear this word as one from You to her: There is hope for her future, declares the Lord (Jer. 29:17)"

    Kris, I prayed for you and your family on and off all day. Was pretty encouraged when I went to the school to pick up my girls at the end of the day and my friend from Northview told me that her caregroup had been told to pray for you all day today! 40 PEOPLE! Wiffy is taking awesome care of your kiddos! I saw them when I dropped off soup and buns to your house. She is such a sweet grandma! I'm so glad the surgery is OVER!     I was praying for you just now. I know your sisters from a small ladies group at Northview awhile back. Thanks for being so open about your experience and for sharing about your reliance on GOD during this whole ordeal. I will pray specifically for your recovery that it goes well.     prayed for you and thought of you all day, spent time reading all the posts on your blog, and recommended it to many friends who are fighting cancer too, and need to read your powerful and spiritual words.     I love you more than words can say as a sister mother of an autistic child. We have known each other for what seems like our whole lives. This relationship of ours stays connected & will always be a gift from God. God bless you and your precious little children, rock of a husband, sisters and parents & all your extended family & friends. God be with you & your healing process. Please Lord, take all pain away, and mostly be supportive & a lead GUIDER for Shawn. Give their children your strength & encouragement where they need it most. Lord I have been steadfast & faithful with my prayers. Please heal Kristin completely from this stuff she refers to as cancer-y. Lord I lift this family upon high to you. God, please watch out for all of TEAMKRISTIN Prayer Warriors & their families. In your name Jesus, God bless everyone! AMEN!     Hi Kristen, It has taken me some time to write since I first read your post on Facebook. It took my breath away and has taken me some time to write to you. I want you to know that you are in my every waking thought, you, your husband, your children, your parents and siblings, your friends and our God. I have no possible way of knowing exactly what you are experiencing right now but what I do know is that you are a Warrior. You are not alone on this journey. Incredibly, as I write this, I am feeling the Peace that Passes all Understanding envelop me in continuous waves.
